Production Set-Up Reflection
Production Set-Up Reflection
Evidence of setting up camera equipment
When filming on the park we need to make sure we're setting up the camera at the correct place where the camera won't break. We need to set up the tripod first opening it up then we place the camera on top then take the lens off just incase it falls during the process.
Strength:
When setting up the tripod I knew how I wanted it to be, I knew how tall, what proportions it should have and where the camera should set. Overall I knew how to set up the tripod.
Weakness:
When putting the camera on the tripod I struggled with it however I got there in the end. When setting it up in the future I'll make sure that I am more confident with setting it up so that nothing would break.
Evidence of using planning material
Here I am looking at the location and making sure that I'm getting all the scenes right by looking at the storyboard, script and shooting script. I am making sure whilst I am making the correct adjustments to everything just like it's seen.
Here is me using the script to understand what is needed for my section of the opening sequence. I was able to help the actors out and guide them into the right position that the script says and get the angles right which is seen on the script. However due to the script being online we had to print it out so that we could have a physical copy incase something happens to the online version.
Here I am using the storyboard so I can get an understanding on what scenes need to be filmed here and what shots I had to do for each scene. It also gave me details on how long each scene would last. However I had to print out the storyboard due to it being damaged in the rain. The good thing about this is since took a photo of my storyboard beforehand just incase something happened to it.
Here I am using the shooting script so that I can see the details on what scenes need to be filmed. I had my own section of the shooting script which meant that I could film my sections exact to the shooting script. A weakness I had is that the shooting script was printed due to forgetting it on the day however I was able to print it at school before filming due to make taking a photo of the shooting script.
Evidence on location
Here is evidence of me at the park with the tripod and camera ready to film for my opening sequence.
Evidence looking Rushes
Here I am sorting out all the clips into folders. The first folder is opening sequence then I put two folders inside of it named "footage use" which I can use and "unwanted footage" which will be filled with footage that we don't need to use.
Evidence following health and safety guidelines

Here is a picture of me looking at the weather. I need to make sure that, that day was suitable for filming. If it rains the floor may be muddy which will cause a hazard for people to fall. If we cannot film that day we will resort to go inside to film or film another day.
