Applying filters:

The following image shows evidence of filters being applied within the opening sequence which was part of the editing stage of the project to perfect it. I've added black and white filter to various of clips with tension. 

Transitions:

Transitions are shown multiple times during the opening sequence. The scene goes to normal to black to give tension and emphasis the feelings so that the audience are able to feel it.

effects to enhance meaning:

Evidence of various effects are shown in this image for an example a text saber effect for the intro. These are to help the audience engage with the opening sequence.
